Summary

Add a new experimental skill: frontend-design, enabling Codex to generate production-grade frontend UI design + implementation artifacts (components/pages, HTML/CSS, React) when the user requests web UI design or frontend coding.

What’s included

• New skill folder under:

  • skills/.experimental/frontend-design/

• SKILL.md includes required metadata (name, description) so Codex can discover and route to the skill.

• Skill instructions focus on producing usable, production-oriented deliverables (design + code artifacts).

How to try

Install via Codex skill installer:

• $skill-installer install the frontend-design skill from the .experimental folder

Then restart Codex to pick up the skill.

Notes

This is intentionally placed in .experimental while we gather feedback on:

• routing accuracy (when it should/shouldn’t trigger)
• output consistency (component structure, accessibility, responsiveness)
• preferred frameworks/patterns

Checklist

• Skill follows Agent Skills folder structure and includes SKILL.md metadata
• Scope is clearly described (frontend UI design + implementation artifacts)
